Settlement dated back to the Medieval period with associated burial ground.
PIRRO NORD, APRICENA
2012 - 2013
Pirro Nord, located in Apricena, Southern Italy, represents one of the earliest records of hominin dispersal into Europe. The site is dated on a biochronological basis between 1.6 and 1.3 Ma and a significant vertebrate assemblage is associated with lithic artefacts.
VALLEY OF THE TEMPLES, AGRIGENTO

Excavation of Greek and Roman structures including dwellings, public areas and temples. The archaeological site also contains late Medieval cemeteries and catacombs that have been investigated along with Greek and Roman contexts.

Aside from the above, my research activities and fieldwork have been undertaken in many other places of archaeological interest mainly located in United Kingdom and Italy, and involved both exacavation and post-excavation activities. Investigated archaeological contexts span from Prehistory to post-medieval periods.
