ABOUT
From a young age, Giuseppe has always had a sense of motivation and passion for archaeology and palaeoanthropology, as well as the desire to explore and untangle human life-histories & origins. His research interests lie in the assessment of anatomical structures and their morphology in relation to function, with a special focus on the observation of micron-level details through synchrotron tomography and micro-CT. The overall aim of his research is to answer specific questions as to how and why bone and teeth shape changes over the course of human evolution based on physiological and environmental factors, as well as to understand the mechanisms regulating teeth and bone formation.
